Matter is a music platform that puts creators first by focusing on their needs, providing deep engagement opportunities and utilizing technology to deliver a frictionless transfer of value to all users. Matter aims to usher content creators into a new realm of possibility by providing tools for growth and fostering an environment where artists and their fans can thrive.

overview:

A case study that explores both Matter.online is web and mobile platforms, how each platform can better leverage its technical functionalities, and make the digital shopping experience better.

UI design, User Experience Design, Product Thinking.

research:

My first step was to understand the constraints of the Matter streaming and find components I can leverage. I researched in-class examples of existing shortcut libraries, such as the Matter Guideline library Figma that the design team created. I collaborated with the Design Team to learn more about how they used the existing keyboard shortcuts system.

about the problem space:

In the following challenge, I primarily focus on the user experience design of the iOS app. My redesign included changing the color pallet for fonts that we used in playlist pages.
